        Felix R. Paturi
It contains 100 string-figures from many parts of the world:
Europe and Asia (5 figures - for example: Plinthius,
                                                     Thief of the candles)
Africa (8 figures: man and woman, ambra, turtle)
        North-america (7 fig: butterfly 1 and 2, storm clouds, 2 rabbits)
        South-amerika (10 fig: Pleiades, moon, honey, Quebracho-tree)
Arctic (11 fig: a burning oil-lamp, kidneys, two rats on a tree)
       Australia (6 fig. A trigger-fish, 4 natives, a dead man,
                                killed by a spear)
Melanesia (10 fig: Porouruurumatawa, an ogre or man-eater,
                                   2 women cooking cabbage)
Mikronesia (10 fig: Amwangiyo, Damaibura, Egattamma)
Polynesia (8 fig:Kuha and Rati, the sun of Maui, the many
ways of Tafai, the 4   Maui-brothers)
Nippon (7 fig: a crab, Yamano-tunnel, owl, mask)
international string-figures (5 fig: Honor Maude, 2 Hexagrams)
In the prolog you find remarks about the history and ethnology
of string-figures, and the explanation of the terminology.
At the end a method is described to fix string-figures
      (with two-compound-colour).
       The book has 143 pages.
       It is a book with games in different grades of difficulty;
Paturi uses the figure terminology of RIVERS and HADDON
       (For example: ulnar radial).
The book doesn´t show any intermediate stages.
But nevertheless it´s a very interesting book!
       (indisponible/not available)
       (critique d´Axel Reichert)

It is good too and has an interesting way of presenting string
games using a wooden frame and many pins and then coating
the string with some very strong glue !
      (critique de Philip Noble)

Voici un livre clair et agréable à lire. Une bonne surprise.
Paturi a fait comme Darsie avec son site. Mais un livre c´est mieux!
