Here are the review that i've made for Saskia's website:
I would like to begin this, by telling you my LOVE for Ireland, Peoples, Nature, Music...everything is like a communion with the whole world, all the elements of Nature..so smartly preserved!
I'm a writer, my usuals is to stay at home for searching inspirations and not meeting a lot of persons. My universe, is family, literature, music, great epistolar friends, and diverses hobbies!
The first time I went in Eire (last June), it was more than I could expected...you can understand it, by the others stories! I went also to Quivvy church, for feel the essences of the Poetry of Belturbet landscapes.
When I had reached Quivvy, Brendan was there playing Keyboards and vocals, after a while he had welcomed me, we were talking about different things, and he brought me back to the city in his car. It was my first meeting with him...and already smiles, laughs, identical point of views have given me a so sweet impression about this unreal artist!
So I was like Wojtek (My fellow polish nut twin), more comfortable in my mind in this idea of meeting him again, at first I was impressed by the menbers of 'Masque', as I felt immediately the same passion for DCD & music in their heart!
When we had reached the Chalet, & welcomed all the applicants, we were in Heaven....we were talking about Robbie, and surprise...surprise, he arrived about one hour later, with his bros' Brendan!
It was already amazing, all that we did, playing percussions, singing in 'The Diamond Bar', when I had sang 'the snake & the moon', and Brendan was so surprised, he did his role with a great enthousiasm, singing, playing with us without thinking of our levels of excellence, just a nice communion, like ours during the Dead Can Dance night tribute. It was also unbelievable!!!
Every day was magic, we had all for us, great accomodations, delicious meals, incredible welcoming by Bernard, Mary, Marc & others, Teachers (Brendan & Robbie) at the state of their art, patient, gentle, nice in all, with a marvellous sense of Humour!
The thing that i'll never forget is all that, plus that thousands of laughs, this last night with Brendan & Françoise and their Friends (Arnie, james & the two wonderful girls!)
I had a deep conversation and communion with Françoise, talking about her animals refuge...and giving her my best admiration about Emma, Brendan, Robbie, and the way all of them make sunshine in our life!!
So like you it was one of my best moments in my life, I'll never forget you....
A big thanks to Saskia (the Siren); Erin (always cheerful); Michelle (So sweet and brilliant); Chris...Brent...and James ('Masque' great persons); Jean Phillippe & Géraldine (my fellow Frenchies); Gregor (the nicest spirit of Germany); & Wojtek (my crazy nut twin from Poland !)
Love you all,
Denis-Pierre.
