Jean Auel and its Earth's children




Not known as it should in France, Miss Jean Auel wrote four fantastic novels based on a prehistoric fresco named "Earth's children". These novels are in the same way that the movie "the fire war" and arouses an international passion. More than one hundred web sites are related to this story. Beyond the prehistoric details on the habits and customs used in these books, It's the values of Nature, Freedom, Humanism and Love which take advantage in the eyes of the readers. On my own point of view, I used a full month to read the 4000 pages of this story. Many thousand Fans of Miss Jean Auel are waiting for the continuation of this story with the issue of the 5th novel. Miss Jean Auel surrounds this event with mystery and speculation since three years. On this subject, there are more than one newsgroup which discuss on the possible contents of this new book. it's a real international role game.

Masterpiece in four novels

Novel I : The Clan of the Cave Bear

Ella, main character, is one the first Cromagnon women. She lost all his family in an Earthquake and had a narrow escape from the claw of the terrifying Cave Lion. After this, she was taken in by the clan of the cave bear constituted by Neanderthal people.

Novel II : The Valley of Horses

When the sorcerer of the Clan died, Ella is banished from the Clan and she's forced to abandon his only child. She settled alone in a beautiful valley and she surveys with help of his knowledge of botanic, an accurated sense of the Nature and the love of the wild animals. Ella built a small lonesome world which seems to be the paradise on the Earth.

Novel III : Mammoth Hunters

In his magic valley, Ella saved Jondalar life. He is a Cromagnon traveller came from the West after a long period more than three years. Ella felt in love, and went with his boy friend to the Siberian lands where lived the famous woolly mammoths.

Novel IV : The Plains of Passage

After a long winter next to the Mammoth Hunters, Ella and Jondalar decided to return back to the West.
